Project Manager Competency Model Survey
The Project Manager Competency Model (PMCM) self-assessment enables project managers to self-assess their current project management capability against a baseline of competency that underpins good practice.
This survey is derived from Hain Consulting’s 360° Competency Assessment process and provides feedback on your current capabilities and development needs through a brief email report.
The Project Manager Competency Self-Assessment:
- Is a confidential, easy-to-use, free resource that provides project managers with an overview of their current skill set.
- Helps to identify core strengths as well as areas of development.
- Has been designed to suit all project managers, across all levels of experience.

Project Manager Self-Assessment Guide
Our online self-assessment is designed to assist you to measure your skills in four competency clusters containing a total of 20 individual competencies as represented by the diagram above.
Each competency contains a number of behavioural descriptions which you will be asked to assess your current performance into one of five levels of proficiency.
This assessment will provide you with a measure of your current level of competency so that you can better plan your development as a Project Manager. You will be able to focus your efforts on the development of skills, attributes and knowledge that will lead to an increased in your ability to deliver successful projects.
